March 1998 - We become the third owners of Grandview. The Cedar tree towers over the original owner's cottage, the future Shack.

September 18th, 2003 - We watch as all of Grandview goes under the storm surge of Hurricane Isabel. The storm was the costliest disaster in Virginia history & it's girth was the size of the state of Colorado. Isabel further damages the ailing cedar.

Our coffee & end tables were hand-crafted from the wonderful cedar tree that delighted residents & guests of Grandview for decades. Every time we see these pieces, we enjoy our fond memories of another piece of Grandview history.
